Who We Are and What We Collect
The data controller for this website and for the personal data described in this policy is Badreddine BENNOUI, a natural person operating under the trading name SameLink ("SameLink", "we", "our", or "us"). When you use our contact form, email us, message us on WhatsApp or book a call, we receive the information you choose to share. This usually includes your name, email address and message, and may include your phone number, company, the service you are interested in, your budget range and details of your project. Newsletter. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we receive your email address. Client work. If you become a client, we also process the information needed to agree and deliver the project, such as contact details, project communications and invoicing details. Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider receives the technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, browser and device type and the pages requested, and records basic visit statistics for us. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects information about how you use the website, such as the pages you visit, the website that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser, and the date and time of your visit. Our Cookie Policy below explains this in more detail. Giving us your personal data is voluntary. If you do not give us your contact details, we cannot reply to your enquiry or send you the newsletter.

Who We Share Data With
We use the following service providers. They process personal data on our behalf, as our processors, to provide their services to us: <p dir="auto">Framer B.V.: website hosting, website forms and visit statistics. Google: Google Analytics (only after you accept analytics cookies), Google Fonts (delivery of the fonts used on the website, which involves sending your IP address to Google) and email services. Calendly: booking of calls, when you choose to book a call with us. Meta Platforms and WhatsApp: messaging, when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Providers of AI tools: see section 5.</p>When you use WhatsApp or Calendly, those services also process your data under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose personal data to public authorities or courts where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. Use of AI tools SameLink uses AI tools in its work, for example to help draft text, summarise information and support design and development work. When personal data is entered into an AI tool, the provider of that tool acts as our processor and may only process the data to provide its service to us. We only enter the personal data that is needed for the task. We do not use AI or any other automated means to make decisions about you that have legal effects or similarly significant effects on you.
International Transfers
Some of the providers listed above store or process personal data outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Türkiye, we do so in line with Article 9 of KVKK, using one of the transfer mechanisms it provides. Where the GDPR applies, transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards used.
Retention and Security
How long we keep your data <p dir="auto">Enquiries and related correspondence that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data: up to 14 months. Client records: for the duration of the project and afterwards for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting and commercial laws.</p>When these periods end, we delete or anonymise the data. Security We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, such as secure (HTTPS) connections, access controls on our accounts and the use of established service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing (including at any time to direct marketing), and to data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it. Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it, to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose, to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred, to request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request its erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK, to request that third parties to whom it was transferred are informed of a correction or erasure, to object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. To exercise your rights, email legal@samelink.io. We will reply as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint. In Türkiye, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu) after first applying to us, if we reject your application, if you find our reply insufficient or if we do not reply in time. If you are in the European Union, you can complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live, work or where you believe the infringement took place.
Cookies, Children and Changes
Cookies We only use non-essential cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies, if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Our Cookie Policy below lists the cookies we use. Client projects When we build, maintain or support a product for a client, that product may process personal data of the client's customers, users or staff. In that case SameLink acts as a processor on behalf of the client, the client's own privacy policy applies, and the processing is governed by our agreement with the client. Children Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
